460 Head Bolts

460 Head Bolts
Can anyone tell me which bolts need sealant and recommendations on the best kind? Gonna be throwing my heads back on soon.

My Ford service manual does not say anything about applying sealer to the head bolts.

Really? There were a bunch that were rusty when I pulled them out. All on the bottom. That's strange.

Yep, they're dry chase....one of the reasons the 460 is so great.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought you were misleading me rla. I apologize. Just wondering how the rust got on the bolts.
