Has anyone fit the 2015+ front end / clip / components onto a 09-14?

Hi all,

Rebuilding a 2013 F150. I REALLY like the look of the 2015+ headlights an grill etc. Has anyone successfully retrofitted them onto a 09-14 body? I know in the past previous F150 front end components would fit any model like 04+.

Just wondering if anyone has made 2015 work on the 09-14 body. Couldnt find anything with searches here or on google.

I would be surprised since we are talking a material change in body panel construction that the connections would be the same. Anything is possible with the right amount of money though.

The 2015+ trucks are wider, ain't gonna happen without tons for fabrication. This isn't going to be like changing out the grill of a 2009 truck for a 2014 grill to update it's look.

It looks to me like the fabrication that went into that body is far beyond most people's skills. The socket around the front headlights doesn't look stock, and the front quarters seem to flair and taper back to the door edges.

If I was looking to undertake your project I'd start with a ruler and test the parts.

They used a FiberWerx kit on it. Nothing stock about it.

That is a FiberWerx Raptor body kit. Lots of fabrication involved, nothing plug-n-play.

Looks good but your saying the other two posters were wrong is erroneous. They were NOT wrong about stock parts NOT fitting as your original question suggested.

Do you have reading comprehension issues? One said it won't be done without major modification, one did say "ain't gonna happen" So I'll give you that one. Both inferred the job wasn't going to be stock for stock parts asper your original question. You demonstrated how correct they were by using the aftermarket kit.

Nice Fraptor though.

I removed the link as it turned out to be a for sale ad.
