Transmission "click"
The 2016 has been great so far, but I've noticed a sound that wasn't present in my 2011.
When the transmission is warmed up, I get a "cla-click" sound from the transmission area when sifting from park to reverse. It doesn't do it all the time and I can only hear it, not "feel" it.
This AM I heard a similar click sound when I came to a complete stop. I only heard it while stopping, not while taking off. I could repeat it almost every time I stopped. I was in drive the whole time I heard the click sound while stopping.
Anyone else have this sound or may know what it may be? I know sounds are one of the hardest things to communicate/diagnose.
All help appreciated.

It mainly started when the truck was sitting in park and I shifted into reverse. Now I can hear it when I'm driving and coming to a complete stop. I cannot feel anything I can just hear it.
It is hard to record the sound but I did my best with my phone.
I'll post a couple links below:

I know that this isn't the answer you wanted, but a trip tot he dealer and letting their diesel transmission tech hear it, would 100% get you the answer.
FYI truck has ~800 miles on it.
I'll keep an eye on it and take it in soon. Hopefully when the new ecm calibration comes out....whenever that is.
Thanks for the help, and if anyone else has any idea let me know.
I'll keep an eye on this thread and post back after I get a chance to take it in.
And I took mine in for several things I thought were wrong, but it turned out they were normal. The tech was nice enough to go for a ride with me and I demonstrated all of my concerns too.

new to this page so here goes, gonna be long and you won’t believe it.
I’ve got a 2016 F-250 77,000 miles, extended warranty til 106,000. Had famous clunk noise when coming to a stop, 2nd to first every time. Went to dealer, dealer says oh no that’s not supposed to do that, I said good and left it with them. Two weeks go by, they call and say it’s fixed, needed a reprogram, never left the parking lot, still doing the same thing, turned around went back in test drove with service manager, his words, oh hell thought we fixed it. Left it another week, replaced solenoid. Picked up truck, never left the parking lot, test drove with service manager, his words, oh hell thought we fixed it. Left it with them again, 3 months total transmission rebuild. Picked the truck up, you guessed it, never left the parking lot same issue. Dealer had engineer come down, 😂 engineer said put a new (remanufactured) transmission in it, so they did. 4-1/2 months, replaced every part in the original transmission, installed a reman. Transmission, you guessed it, still have same clunk coming to a stop. Dealer
said I would just have to live with it. I’ve driven 20 of these trucks and can’t find another one that does it. Any body found a fix yet. I hear and feel
it no matter if windows are up, radio on, window down, all the time.
