Name that noise

I have a 2001 ford escape xlt v6 that I just bought not to long ago. It has new tires on it. It has a noise that sounds very similar to road noise from tires as if they were big mudding tires but it never changes tones or sounds when road surfaces change. It gets fadter as I go faster and obviously stops when Im not moving. Could it be wheel bearings? Anything else to look out for?

its wheel bearing, if you drive it again, turn to the left while drive, if it gets louder its your right side, and if it gets louder turning right than its your left side. it does this as its putting the weight of the vehicle as it rolls into the turn on your "bad" wheel bearing. also jack it up AND USE JACK STANDS!!! but grab the tire as its still on the vehicle at the top and one hand at the bottom(so one hand at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock) and see if there is and shuck in it then do it at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock). my 2002 blazer had the drivers front start making the noise and i ignored it for about 6 months, well one day while doing brakes i decide to do the shuck test and it moved all directions about 1/2 inch and i liticed my tire was balder than the rest.. short answer is yes its wheel bearings
