OT - Weather Rant

Well its supposed to be spring, I'm supposed to be at the Maple Grove Dragstrip Spring Flea market. We go every year and we all look forward to it. It was cancelled for today and as I sit here at the computer and look out the window, my grass which needs to be mowed is slowly disapearing under a fresh coating of snow!

We just have lows of high 50's and highs around 85 right now. Low humidity for the last 10 days. We had the Final Four BB tournament last weekend and at the same time the Houston Open Golf and the US Clay Court Championship Tennis tournaments. Realtors are having a blast because a bunch of the out of town people must think that this is what we always get since there has been a rash of interest in houses for sale from out of town people this last week. Ha, wait until another few weeks when we are getting close to 100 with high humidity! Only to get worse until October... And of course we will get a flood or two between May and August.

I'm with John. We still have snow in our yard. I probably won't have to cut grass for a month. I'm thinking of packing it all up and moving to Topper's place. I will claim refugee status, and the government will pay him for it. Have a great day.

That's why I moved from Buffalo to Florida and then to Arizona. I feel for you.

I hate the heat and unbearable humidity of our summer months. We get mosquitos that can carry you away, just to top it all off. But, John, I don't think that I could take being snowed in all winter... I was born in Central Minnesota where it is cold too but quickly moved out when I was 1!

I think that Scotty has it right, Arizona where it is dry and probably doesn't have zillions of mosquitos.

Sure thing, you can come on down and finish my trucks for me... I will give you refugee status!

Topper; our provincial bird is the mosquito. John's, I believe, is the black fly!

Mowed the grass at one house last weekend, this is what we have been looking at for several weeks where we live fulltime.

I not sure I wouldn't prefer the snow, at least you can walk on it!

My solution! At the end of this month do not remove April off the calender. Got it.
So May 1st. is April 1st. 10 months of Ice skating and 2 months of lousy sleding !
