I had the same symptoms. I started with ECU, thought it might be fuel pumps and it ended up being the Distributor. Only a shop with full diagnostics could find it.
Replaced the distributor and ignition module and now it works! Seems down on power on hills, but at least it runs.

You may have a bad in tank fuel pump or one that is inoperative and you may be just running on the frame mounted fuel pump.
Or you may have junk in the fuel reservoir on the frame or need to replace the fuel filter on the frame.
But first you need to check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to find out if your fuel pressure is holding going up hills. Just slide the dog house back a little so the gauge hose comes through into the van so you can see the gauge.
The fuel pressure should hold near 40psi while going up the hill.
