I have a 1999 F450 with a 6.8L and auto trans. The gear ratio is 4.88 and those puppies are geared LOOOOW.

Has anyone swapped ring and pinions on these (or anything close)? Factory options I think were 4.88, 4.56, 4.30, 4.10 and 3.73's in some 350s SRWs and 250s

And to clarify, would I be correct that the rear is is a Dana 80 and the front a Dana 60?

I just want to make this big fella a little longer legged and a leeeetle less hard on fuel
