programmer data

ok I see all these different programmers with the same tune settings for 2011-2016 6.7 powerstroke. to my understanding the 2011-2014 have smaller turbos, fuel pump, exhaust outlets and few other differences than the 2015-2016 wich are supposed to have larger turbos, fuel pump, injectors, exhaust etc..... how can the same program settings be accurate if this is so? im new to the diesel world but it seems that t same principles would apply as in gas engines to some extent? I have a 2015 6.7 with the banks automind,my truck is used as a daily driver with a 70mile round trip,7days a week mostly, it is 1yr old with 53k miles,i was thinking of doing a egr/dpf delete and going with a PIP MAX tuner. any info would be appreciated

With the DPF on tuning, the power levels will be the same because the limiting factor is the DPF. With delete tuning, the 2015-16 trucks are a lot more capable power wise than the 2011-14 trucks. Around 480-500hp is the max for the 11-14 trucks and anywhere from 580-600hp for the 15-16 trucks. The newer 6.7s will MOVE with tuning! Spartan or Gearhead on the SCT are good options.

My fuel aconomy isn't to great, I average about 15mpg. I have 35" tires and small lift, s&b cold air intake and MagnaFlow cat back exhaust. . I have friends with the 2013 and they average around 18-20 mpg.

Sweet. You will enjoy it. I averaged 19-21 mpg with stock tires and Spartan. I'm now around 16-18 with 35s.

You will enjoy a tuned '15!

Either spartan or SCT with pip. The Spartan is expensive but the reviews I am reading about them is that their tuning is spot on with power but especially with the transmission shift strategies. If you go with Spartan, you should call them first as they have specific instructions.

Correct. Factory before delete, she would sit 18.5-19.

I also want to add that there is nothing wrong with the automind from banks, for the money its an awesome gain over stock, even with emissions. ive just heard a lot of people talking about the longterm effects of the emissions not being so great so im considering the delete. call it preventive maintenance lol , hopefully!
