question about cylider heads
I am helping my brother replace the 302 engine in his 79 f-150. The engine we are replacing it with is a 302 that came out of another 79, it has a bolt with washers blocking a passage to the exhaust outlet at cylinders #1 and #8 on the outside of the head. Is this an emissions item? is there a better way to block these passages?
