Camshaft swap

Hello all, for the life of me I can't find my shop manual...

Anyways, I'm going to be changing intake, carb and camshaft. I've done this all before but not an such a "new" engine. I'm working with an '84 5.0L currently a 2bbl. My question is, do the rocker arms need to be adjusted when I am ready to put everything back together, or do I just torque them to a specific value?

Torque to 25 ft. lbs. Don't forget the break-in additive and prime the engine before start.

Perfect, thanks!! I've always had mixed feelings about priming the engine, even though I've always done it, it seems like by the time you get the distributor in after priming, it's lost its effect, or am I just that dumb lol

After priming, even if the system has lost it's pressure, you still have essential oil where it needs to be. Inside the lifters, in the bearings, etc.. Even with all the lube I use on a new engine, I would not start one without priming. The first few seconds are very critical for the lubrication (and life) of an engine.
