Head Stud/Oil Separator interference
Putting a set of studs in an early 2003 6.0 after assembly I have found that the studs interfere with the oil separator under the valve cover. Has anyone ran into this on an early truck before? If so what was the remedy?

Ya ment to post that I went ahead and put it together, it is ok. I had initially set the valve cover on without the gasket to cover the engine for the night and found the lack of clearance. After adding the gasket, the seperator sets up against the studs but has very little pressure. Truck is assembled and out of the shop customer picked up truck this morning.
