Transmission I.D.

I just bought an automatic transmission that is supposed to have only 6K miles from new, not from rebuild from factory new. It is supposedly from a 95-96 F-150 2 wheel drive, 351W and appears to be a 4-speed O.D.

The tag on the transmission is: PGD HG H 30C
E9TP ACA
It has fitting for electronic speedo. Can anyone tell me exactly what I have.

It's an E4OD if it was in a 1995/96 F-150 with a 351w. Does the pan have 20 bolts and have the word "metric" stamped in it?

You are not going to e happy. That is for an 89-90 vehicle. It will fit a 351, but I am about positive that it's a C6 and not an E4OD.
