Take a cigar or cigarette and blow the smoke into one of the vacuum lines, you'll find your leak pretty quickly.

These other fine fellows have you well on the way to finding and fixing your vacuum leak(s) so I'll take this opportunity to point out that you can go to your " User CP" and fill out your signature to show your year, trim level, drivetrain, engine and any mods you have performed on it. That way the info will show up at the bottom of every one of your posts so folks will know what your working with when you ask questions.
And while you are in the "User CP" you can also fill in your location so folks can see where you are from, who knows, you might be neighbors with one of us who likes to spin wrenches and has a preference for cheap beer!

Leaking hubs or tubing will affect the HVAC controls ONLY when you're trying to switch into or out of 4x4. At any other time, there's no vacuum applied to those components via the PVH solenoid so there's no opportunity for leakeage.

Your odds are better if you investigate the PVH solenoid itself as well as the rest of the vacuum supply system BEFORE the PVH solenoid for leaks.

Yep-I had to replace my vacuum actuator as well....on both of the ones I had. The AC defaults to the factory start mode which is the defroster. There is a youtube video on the subject of this Ford ESOF problem. Easy fix.
