EGR valve

I have a 1988 Ford F-250. 5.8L So I was wondering where the vacuum hose that goes to the top of the EGR valve is supposed to run to. My EGR valve has no hose running from the top of it. Can't find anywhere online where that vacuum line is supposed to run to.

It should run to the EVR

EGR Vacuum Regulator solenoid.

I don't have a pic, but Google that and it will give you some pics.
