I pulled codes and got code 33 on KOER. I found my EGR and there was no hose on it at all. Ok I bought a hose that fits it right but my question is. The vacuum routing shows the EGR connects to the EVP. On the diagram it shows the EVP near the front of the truck. I looked and all I see is a vacuum hose going to a vacuum reservoir. Is that where I could connect the hose to? Or where would the EVP might be? Truck is a 1990 4.9L F150
So if the sensor is on top which I did go and see. Yet the routing shows the egr connected to something in the front. I would take a picture of the diagram but my phone doesnt have auto focus which sucks.
EVR is on the bracket for the igniton coil on my 92 I6 just like my 88 308.
You probably are thinking of your vacuum canister (coffee can) If I remember correctly their is a line from your intake manifold to the EVR you will have to find out weather it is the top or bottom line as it is hard for me right now to check on my trucks. From the other line on the EVR it goes to the egr valve.

The bottom port is the manifold source vacuum port:
I found a green wire hanging near my EVP. I pulled it up to see it and their was a small screw in it. Took it out put it back on the EGR and retested it. Still got code 33. The hoses are connected to the ports. The only hose I cant check is the one that goes to source vacuum. On my diagram it goes behind the engine and to a reservoir on the other side.
