So my plans are to black out the truck paint and tint wise. Itll have chrome top mirrors, chrome door handles, chrome (stock) bumpers, chrome window vent covers, and chrome brushguard.
Main paint job is a ways away still. But im tossing around the idea of painting my stock rims with bed liner (spray can) & leaving the hub caps chrome. I've heard of mixed results. Anyone done this? Anyone think it would look good?
Hard to say. Are they aluminum? If so, I'd polish them until they look like chrome then seal them.
Don't forget your chrome exhaust tip and chrome step bars!

Forgot to add the chrome side steps. Might go for the chrome tips too!
And im not sure if their aluminum honestly. Im sure someone else knows and might chime in
Ok so swipped the spare from the explorer since its black. Taped on one of my hub caps. (I know it's not the same style rim but gives a kind of preview I guess.. What do y'all think?
Gradually blacking out parts on my truck, but i believe I am staying with the aluminum rims. Gotta have at least a little bling. If it just had steel wheels, then I would black them out.
