I am working on my 69 F250 rear axle(D60) and the PO had the local Goodyear do the brakes and what an F'in MESS! They put 3" shoes on when it takes 2 1/2" shoes, the parking brakes were all wrong, when you pull the lever, the arm/cam would not expand the shoes, so off everything came...the passenger side went GREAT!, but the driver side is a different story...I need to find the center pin that hold the parking brake lever to the backing plate....they broke the head of this one off!!!. Now I know why they didnt hook up the e-brakes correctly...morons.
So I need help finding a new pin...or is this going to be a wrecking yard item only?? You'll see the pin Im talking about in the attached pic(right at the center top)
I can't tell what you are referring too in the picture. But why can't you improvise? Use a bolt if you can, or go down to the hardware store and get a pin. Or get a brake hardware kit and see if it comes in it.
Thanks Garrett,
I actually fixed it. it is a serrated stud with a round head, the head was broken off, so I just welded the stud to the washer under it...worked perfectly.
The e-brake arm assembly and the small hardware goodie stuff, I saved from a few yrs. earlier when, I changed out the whole rear axle assembly and used the best backing plates. dumped the old back at PnP scrap box. Being these truck are so old one never know when a bolt head will pop off or other e-brake hard ware will break and the only source it the PnP Junk Yard for a fast fix. But the last 3 yrs we don't get many bumps or dents like 5 yrs ago..

The fronts will be the same size as the rear. If optional front discs are present (2WD), the rear shoes are 12" x 2 1/2."
