2016 door unlock
Is there a way to program your expedition to have the driver door unlock automatically when fob is near? Without touching any buttons?

nope..... one of the shortcomings of the old design

I know you can press any key on the keypad to unlock the driver's door, which atleast saves having to pull the remote out of your pocket.

No, but there are some alternatives, such as this. If you Google, there are a few competing products now also for less money (not that $160 is much to begin with).
