Quick question....Was the black interior option really rare on the bullnose's? My father purchased 1983 f250 diesel 4x4 4-speed, brand new with Black and Silver exterior with all black interior. I always keep my eye out for one similar for sale somewhere, but far and few out there I'm thinking? Someday I am going to get one.
Huh. A few months back there was just such a truck in the running/used car section of my local junkyard. 1983 F250 diesel 4x4 manual. The interior was black with rosewood manual crank door panels. The exterior was... silver and black, with the aluminum trim line. It was very odd for a diesel F250 in that it had semi-float rear axle and Dana 44 front axle instead of Dana 50. It had a 6.9 engine VIN but a 6800 GVWR instead of 8600 like other diesels I've seen. Strange offering in 1983! It was a little rough but I wish I had $1500 at the time. I would have bought it.

They are out there....somewhere. When I get more serious, I will find one myself...My old mans was a straight up F250, ate up ball joints and rear ends.
Over the course of 10 years, my dad and the rest of us put over 300k on that odometer. Original engine/transmission, except for the usual every other bolt on item like most 80's American rigs was replaced at one point or another! I've owned a few 86's, they were all tan/brown two tone Lariets...Love um.
