Upper ball joint/control arm

I just happen to notice that I have play in the upper ball joint, I have read that instead of just replacing the ball joint every comment suggested to also replace the upper control arm.

Now upon doing a search for said part is there any one brand better than another? and anything I should be aware of?

Thanks for your input. Vehicle is a 2005 Lincoln Navigator.

Go to fordparts.com and look up the part numbers and prices. Then search amazon for those part numbers. There are a couple sellers on there with the OEM parts cheaper than aftermarket.

Just remember that the OEM parts don't come with the hardware (castle nuts ect) and those have to be ordered separately, or reuse the old ones.

Thats what I did.
