Hello Everyone!
Well I`m migrating over here from Excursion land! I still have the X, but I just picked up an 01 Explorer LTD V-8 AWD. extremely clean with 167k miles! Owned by an older couple. it needed a right side exhaust manifold (exhaust tick) and a belt and tensioner. I`m going to detail it, but that is going to be easy. everything works and has almost 0 rust (small rust spot on pass. side lower fender behind running board). This is my second Explorer, we used to have a 95 4.0L Explorer XLT premium. I really missed my 95, so this was nice to come across. The only thing I don`t like is the front seats. I liked the 95 front seats much better, they were more conforming. these 01 seats are more rounded off and you feel as if you are going to slide off the sides! otherwise its very nice!
