I have 2001 f350 5.4l 4x4 my fuel sender has been determined as the culprit in my fuel gauges not reading correctly. I am attempting to find information as to what are my options I am currently look at a bosch 67175 assembly for $162. or can I rebuild this myself and install a walbro 255llph pump and a new pot for cheaper, better quality. etc? I am also looking at cutting an access hole for better serviceability in my bed and would appreciate any suggestions. Also on the side what do you have to do to make a vehicle flex fuel?

 

Did you ever make any progress on this? I too am looking at replacement of the pump and sending unit--2006 F250. Thanks for any info.
