I saw in my local CL a guy wanting to sell his 2011 dually longbed with tailgate, in bed liner, and bumper. Basically the whole tail end. It's the same color as mine.

Wondering if that bed would just bolt right up to my '06 F350 dually longbed? Would there be any issues? Are the bolt patterns the same? His fuel door is the rectangular one meaning it has the DEF. I also have a Snugtop camper shell over my bed.

It would be a nice looking upgrade to my truck. My current bed is bent at the front near the cab. Not too bad. Previous owner might have something in the bed not secured and hit the brakes hard.

People have been swapping the newer beds onto the older trucks with little to no issues. There is a difference in wheel arch appearance, but since this is a dually bed I doubt that even that will be an issue.

 

Thanks. What about the backup sensors? Are they compatible between '11 and '06?
