Nitrous Oxide for EFI 7.5

Its my understanding that a ford 460 bottom end is considerably overbuilt and a good candidate for NO2. does anyone have any experience with this?

Well, it depends on how it was maintained. I know from experience that a 460 block with a offset ground 429 crank on 10 pounds of boost will go 9 flat allll day and not break a sweat.

depends on what size shot you wanna use, and how well you dial in the system to work with the old speed density....not something that you want to trial-and-error your way through the install of a 100+ shot.

I bet it could take a 200 wet shot without much complaint. We're pushing 12 PSI of boost through one.

However, I wouldn't run nitrous on a 460 with stock engine management without a window switch. The rev limiter is around 4500 RPM or so, and it's a full fuel cut, so you will go very lean if you crash into the limiter while spraying.
