Why is it when you want something so bad and you get it it's only a matter of a couple weeks the novelty wears off..

I've been getting impulses to start another project and see a few close by but when I think of the pain I'm in the impulse starts to diminish

I have a new "project" I won a truck at our company picnic-- had to drive to Sprinfeild MO to get it (5 hrs one way) but now it is home. Problem is I don't know what to do with it?
