This hits a little too close to home. My '93 has the same color scheme (but it's not modified except for 31's). It sure will make me think twice about leaving mine parked overnight with the top off. That's one risk I have to admit I would never have considered. I can’t imagine what despicable excuses for humanity would even think of committing such a crime. Hopefully the foul creatures will be caught and punished appropriately.
I hope you find a suitable replacement very quickly, and don’t let the other crooks involved (your insurance co.) rob you blind!
My sincerest thanks for your words of support. Rest assured that I have friends in the StLPD. The perpetrators WILL be caught and summarily drawn and quartered by four horses (Broncos). I'm certain I could get three other volunteers to assist in the process...any takers?
Insurance ****....er...adjuster was out this evening. Eleven year old truck + fire in the interior = total loss.
I intend to buy back her remains for salvage as I had the extreme good fortune to acquire yet another Bronco today...yes...less than twelve hours after the incident, I was put on to an all black 1993 XLT with the 302 and E4OD. Interior is identical to "Greystreak" and I must admit in slightly better condition . The plan is to have the lift, wheels (new tires ...the two rear and spare are "toast"), and Bassani exhuast back under the new one in time to take part in the afforementioned drawing and quartering. I am toying with ideas on just what kind of "grey streak" to add to the new one that would be worthy of her predecessor yet unique enough to be original. The solid black theme is just a bit too morbid even for a guy who's first five cars were hearses. Nothing keeps the Phoenix from rising from the ashes....especially when it bears the Blue Oval of Excellence.

Sorry for the loss! After a moment of silence for "Grey Streak", Casper (my bronco) quickly volunteered us to drive on down & help in the drawing & quartering. I wholeheartedly second the motion!
Glad that you were able to find another so quickly, & look forward to seeing a gallery full of pics.
I'm glad to hear that you were able to find another Bronco so quickly. You'll never be able to duplicate the character of the original vehicle, but it's fun to create a new character on a fresh slate. I went through similar frustration and anger when I lost my '67 F100, but within a week my wife and I were putting parts from it into our current '68. It's nice to have familiar touches in a new vehicle. Good luck with the new project, and be sure to post pictures!
just to update everyone who was concerned...The third victim on my street assisted in catching the guilty S O B before he torched any more cars. He got a total of three vehicles, mine being the first, in as many days before he was caught. I only regret not having gotten the oportunity to "talk" with him.
I volunteer to connect the coil wire from "my little pony" to the twit's gonads and crank over the engine during the torture session. He'll wish he was sitting in the "greystreak" as it went up.
