Does anybody know what the set point is for the tpms light is? Truck is a 12 2wd. Looks like they are supposed to be set at 38psi and when I checked them they were around 30psi.

Good question...I was told it was around 26-28psi from the factory which seems too low in my eyes.
My SCT allows me to set them and they are currently at 35psi for my new KO2s

The light is there to tell you your tire is significantly under inflated. The rule of thumb is when the tire pressure falls 25% below the manufacturers recommend rating the light should come on.
