Pcm ecu help need
I have a 96 Ford F-250 7.3, I had a speed chip in it that somehow fried my pcm 3 days ago, has burnt smell coming from pcm all fuses good and power in wire to Pcm, and now truck won't start has no wait to start light and my snap on computer won't read pcm, so basically toast......

Now here's my problem I can't find a replacement anywhere, here is what Pcm says it is:
it's a DPC-202 NAW4, part number F6TF-12A6-50AYC automatic transmission.
from what I understand any DPC-202 can work in my truck from what I've been told by reprogramming it?, and a DPC-202 NAW4 or NAW5 or NAW6 can work without reprogramming?, so am I correct? And does anyone have a good one for sale at reasonably good price?, Thanks Chris.
