Hey Steve, I had one that I got without the hardware similar to the one above. After checking around for the hardware, I found that it was better to buy a new one. I can't remember exactly what site but the Fulton is exactly what you're looking for, around $495 if I remember right. Good luck,L8R ZFLASH
1948 thru 1952 Ford F-1 trucks require a special series Fulton visor, I cannot remember the number, the one that has the center roof mount, they are rare. I got mine from “Loupeestuff classic car parts”, they have a website but also sell on Ebay. I got mine about eight years ago but I did not start driving the truck until one year ago. The first thing that I noticed was the center vibrated violently when I crested 55 mph; I concluded that it probably was not an issue in the past when these truck only did that speed downhill. I have since glued flat bar braces under the roof, from the top of the window, half way back, to stiffen the area that the visor mount attaches to. It definitely improved the vibration issue, not sure I am completely happy with it yet, I might add another layer of flat bar. I have had it up to 85 mph, not sure that I would like to cruise on the interstate for a long time at that speed but passing would be fine; 60 and 70 seem okay now. Regards

Thanks for the detailed feedback on these visors! No question they look cool, and would be nice on sunny days, but I've always wondered how much wind resistance they add to what is essentially a barn door going down the road.
