Weather is getting good enough to start this project. Current engine I was told is locked. I've put a wrench on it and appears correct. 4.6 Romeo. I've tossed around all the options. slow and cheap..... tear it apart and see...replace minimum and obvious parts for a decent rebuild. 2) junk yard/used. Found a 88k 02 engine 1400. Seems like a good choice. Complete no swapping of intake,covers,pan, etc. Although intake has to come off for install? Removed engine have any value?
3) reman. More money still rolling the dice.
