running boards

Couldn't find exactly what I wanted without spending 500 on an ill fitting set of running boards, so i decided to fab a pair over the weekend. Plates were made with studs welded to them and welded to underside of board( no exposed bolts!) contour guages were used to get an exact fit to front and rear fenders. tightened up the gap a bit in the front also. after patterns were used to cut from blanks, and the 2 inch turndown was bent and molded in around the ends, welded and ground down smooth.

They will be smooth, but will have polished stainless half round for the ribs.. More pics to follow.

Tapped and threaded up through bottom so those bolts are hidden also.
