Parking brake spring

A couple weeks ago my parking brake stopped self ratcheting into place when I depress the pedal. Now when I press the pedal with my foot I have to push in the handle and then let off the pedal for it to lock into place.

Yesterday I found a small broken spring laying on the floor board and figured that must be the problem. Anyone know the part #. I've looked at a couple of diagrams of the area but can't find the spring in there.

I bagged a SPRING at PnP. I think even 73-79 will also work.

The spring you mention is not shown separate from Ford. So, 2X Orich.
