I don't think I would "customize it". Maybe some cab clearance lights and a soft tonneau cover but mostly I would detail the heck out of it and enjoy it....sharp looking truck !
That is one gorgeous truck, and the very nicest part is how original it is. If it were mine (strictly my taste) I would leave it alone or even un-do the few modifications that have already been done to it. Almost every truck out there has been customized with generic aftermarket schlock. One that still has everything stock and OEM appearance is the truely rare treat for the eyes. If you want to "do" something to it, consider focusing on the mechanical side and adding a turbo charger and overdrive (it is a diesel right?) as those two upgrades will pay off big time and totally change your user experience. Again, that's just my taste but remember before you change stuff that original stock trucks like that are a vanishing commodity.
