I am interested in installing a light bar on my 04 Ex but not sure which one to get. I would like one that will illuminate not only the sides of the road but a long way down the road too. Easy installation with the minimum of drilling into the body would be great. I already have small spots which I am planning to mount behind the grill until I can build my front bumper.
I already have fog lights which I will be installing when I do all of the lights. I am looking for an overhead light bar which will light the road ahead further than my high beams, these of course also light up the sides of the road just because the beams are not pin points. The lights I am mounting behind the grill are spots but they will not reach out past my high beams, just looking for something to enhance these spots.

Jeff
have you ever used a overhead light ? they are not suitable for street use and honestly they pretty much suck off road as well.
aside for blinding oncoming traffic which is why they are not road friendly, the light glare the reflects off your windshield and hood from being right above your windshield makes them tiresome to use. any dust or fog in the air and they are useless. if you want to improve your lighting you would be better off focusing on something at bumper level. if you are just after looks then just buy the cheapest one you can find
My light bar bolts to the front bumper mounts, no drilling, and has four huge lights. Two point straight up the road and the outer two are angled out slightly for ditch to ditch coverage.
Rough Country makes a good middle of the road light bar. I have a 30" from them. The 30" and 2 rigid industries spots come on with the one S/W. I also run rigid DOT cubs for fogs.
