trying to find the correct belts

Hello,

I'm trying to determin which are the correct belts for my truck.

It's a '89 F-350 4x4 E4OD chassis-cab with a 7,3IDI.

the reason is that there is a mix-match from all different belts, some large some small, and the are starting to show their age. and now I thought, while being busy, why not trying to get it original?

That said, I can retrace some of the original Ford numbers, but me living in Europe (France) I have problems to obtain these original FORD parts.

The dealers here have only parts for their small European Fords.

Is there a way to find the sizes in the measures as for instance Gates uses them?

Thanks for any help here.

Any parts store should be able to look them up by application. The aftermarket belts part numbers can easily be decoded to give you the length and width of the belt.

Well, it might have escaped your attention,
but I'm not in the usa, that means, the parts houses here have no clou about American Trucks. therfore, what you suggest is not possible.
thanks anyway.

take off your belts and go to all the auto parts stores in your area and ask them if they have anything similar to compare. if not get someone you trust who can buy the belts for you and have them shipped to your residence, or check ebay or amazon I know theres international sellers on there. if none of that works well then your pretty much out of options
