Is a FORD truck
Truck & Pass car use different TVR wit a 385 engine.
Truck TVR has a guide plate w/ nylon bushing, bolted to top left bellhsg bolt. TVR goes through it down to Manual Valve lever on A/T. [ BTW TVR= Throttle Valve Rod, or "kick down rod"]
Also FWIW, C-6 from Lincoln has what's called Soft Shift logic built in A/Ts valve body.
1, It won't allow engagement of transmission when engine is on high idle, like cold start etc.
2, Upshifts are modulated twice in Lincoln C6s. Once by vacuum modulator using engine manifold vacuum & once by buffering ball valve in A/T Valve body. They prevent solid engagement of trans so ride feels "soft" or "Smooth" & doesn't snap granny around.
Also VE C6 usually has wierd rear mount set up. Fits VE only.
use C6 out of truck 1st choice, or a pass car other than Lincoln. Only Lincoln uses this technology.
I run "pro Built" C5 w/ 460 in F100. I don't "work" or pull a load , tho' I race at local NHRA Venue. FBp
