Yessiree... the early Mustang linkage is readily available from a zillion parts houses... 78-79 Dentsides will work too... they use a ball and socket linkage at the carb (easy to disconnect) and the typical clip at the pedal arm. Remeber to grab the return springs and brackets.
got the linkage figured out but it wont work as this motor went into my 64 f100 and it dont have the firewall brace to make the linkage work properly so i went to the hardware store bought a $3.00 rod and bent it to work easy and cheap heres some pics i had to drill the hole on the side of the carbs arm for the linkage to go through now i just need to make a bracket to mount the throttle return spring to
crazed you think a lot like me. I'm doing something very similiar with my 2 barrel and parts of an $11.00 Lokar throttle cable that I gave up trying to make work, and a hardware store clevis at the pedal end
i was going to make it a heim joint on the one end and a u shaped link at the other but the hardware store didnt have any all thread the size i needed for the heim threads thats ok saved me money and i got enough to make 2 more of these same kind with the extra material
