The link claims its for a 47 Ford truck as well. Now as far as the linkage goes, that was missing from my truck, so I have no idea how that was set up.
There was a lot of modification to the truck so nothing surprises me anymore.
Since I am starting from scratch, would it be better to get one of the universal pedal set ups from ebay?

That's what I am thinking now too. Thanks for all the input.
I will look for an aftermarket that won't stand out too bad from the brake pedal. Most of the ones I see are chrome, though.
