352 rebuild

Is it possible to use a 390 crank and rods in a 352 as a stroker motor?

Yes, BUT:

With 352 pistons, you will be out of the hole .050, give or take. Too much, as the gasket will only be .040. If the block is decked at all, it will be more.
So you will have to find a 4 inch piston with the correct compression height.

OR, if your 352 block will take a .050 overbore, which it should, you can use stock 390 pickup or car pistons or 360 pistons, depending on what compression ratio you want.

Bore the block .050 over and make a 390 out of it, you have a much better engine.
