wills 56 project

Hi guys
Finally got my new project home
.
Started to strip it down what a mess the dash is. Can't believe someone did this.
Anyway on I go.
How do i remove both the windscreens.

I'm sure you'll find all sorts of "handy work" from the previous owner. Mine was like an easter egg hunt. I'm not sure what your plans are for it, but judging from that dash panel... I'd go over it good, brake lines, suslension and stuff. Some people do some pretty scary stuff.

For the windshield and rear window I just ran a razor blade around the window cutting the rubber seal, then the windows pop right our. Replacement gaskets aren't very expensive.

Took the drip rail back to bare metal surprise only a 3 inch repair overall not to bad

Any ideas on what i should put on the bare metal until i start any panel work so it doesn't rust

I would use a aersol can weld through primer. Glad to see another truck being rescued. The drip rails do look to be quite sound.

That is quite a mess of a dash but I would rather have messed up wiring than alot of rust. It looks like your roof is really nice and if the rest of the truck is similar you have a good one!

Thanks for the dash pics. Gary yes I'm leaving it lhd. I'm going to put a jag front ifs.not sure about the rear. Has anyone done a fuel tank replacement like this and if so have you got the details and step by step pics.

will, i use mustang tanks


then pipe the filler where u want, if u get stuck, i have a few lhd jag fronts and mustang tanks in stock
