I've been reading different articles about raising the steering linkage on a bronco to offset a suspension lift and create a better steering angle. There seems to be 2 ways of doing this:
1 Relocate the tie rod ends on top of the standard bronco knuckle
or
2 Find a flat-top knuckle from a blazer, machine it flat, and add a custom steering arm and linkage.
If anyone has any experience with either of these please let me know. I have a '75 bronco with about a 4 or 5 inch suspension lift that sees equal amounts of mud and asphalt.
I just fixed the steering on my 74. Now you have a 75 and the inverted y type steering which does bad with lifts. If you have the cash check out bulletproof steering and buy there system with the knuckle over version. I recommend changing your steering to pre 75 if you don't go with the system. Get a track bar drop bracket, drop pitman arm, and adjustable track bar. Your drag link and track bar should be at the same angle. If you want to keep your steering check out BC Broncos for there rod over conversion.
