Injectors are fired in two batches, get a noid light and test each batch (one injector from each would suffice to start with) to see if one batch isn't pulsing as it should.

2 5 6 and 7 are a batch.

1 4 5 and 8 make up the other batch.

My gosh I'm glad you said that! Back in 2009 I was having fits with my truck. I found out that 4 injectors run on one pin of the PCM and the other 4 run on a different pin. I once had a diagram of what each pin was for. I replaced the PCM and it fixed the problem. So tomorrow I will check to see if the wires that go from the PCM to the injectors are okay. Gosh how quick we forgot. I told them order me another one just in case. Thank you for jogging my memory.

Put anothet PCM in and it's doing the same thing. But that happened the other time I replaced it too. The new PCM was bad. I did notice a ground wire coming from the plug to the fender and another wire coming from there that is not attached to anything. I don't know if that was added or not. Where could it possibly go?

The injectors are in the right side of the diagram:

Could you be a little more specific? What plug?

It has a 460 engine. I know they only put these E7TF BVB1B in 1988 f-250 and 350.

I recall on the 1992 and later trucks there was a ground lead that hooked to the firewall. I'm sure there was a similar setup for 1991 and prior. Cannot give you specifics, sorry.

So two PCMs in a row with only firing 4 injectors makes one think there is a wiring issue between the PCM and the injectors. Mice, rats, squirrels, etc. are known to chew through wires.

I tried another PCM and it acted the same. After I had a couple people look at it they both thing it is the Duel Tank Reservoir not letting enough fuel through . I have been hitting the junkyards to no avail. Is there other options? Can I use a single one and forget about the other tank? This is my only vehicle. And I am among the working poor. lol What are my options?

The fuel pressure was proven to be good earlier: "Yes, he fuel pump was checked at the rail. 40 lbs."

Instead of trying to empty your wallet, rent a test light to see if all the injectors are being commanded to fire.

I had not been able until now to check my truck out myself. I had bruised ribs . But checking it out myself, I found the reservoir was leaking. And when I pushed the stem on the fuel rail, it didn't spirt out gas as it should. Which leaves to to think that is the problem.

UPDATE: I went ahead and eliminated the back tank. I decided to go with a Single function Reservoir. Still acting the same.
