I recently acquired my first ford truck, a 94 7.3l Powerstroke. The guy I got it from thinks that the digital odometer reset itself back to zero somewhere around 250,000 miles , but he is unsure about this, so the current reading could be seriously out of whack. It is currently sitting at 245,000 miles.
Has anyone heard of this happening before? If so, is there any way to determine the actual mileage? Thanks
