tranny ?
Is the input shaft on a 3 speed manual trans on a 292 truck v8 the same length and diameter of a 239 truck manual trans. I was given a 3 speed trans 11 inch clutch pressure plate and fly wheel and was needing to know if it will bolt up to the 239 and work. Also he gave me the bell housing the only difference I see is it had a place on the side where a slave cylinder could mount. I also have my bell housing off my 239 I can use if it is deep enough for the 11 inch clutch. Was wanting to use the trans given to me because it has a fresh rebuild on it.
