body work rust advise

hey guys so my bed sides on my black 97 reg cab are toast, went to get a quote today and it was around 3000$ to paint and repair the bedsides, thats waaaaay outside my budget and im from new England and cant find a decent bed especially black. most places down south or out west wont ship a bed or just want 1000 plus just for shipping. is there any options? thanks
