I'd like to use a couple of these but after reading some reviews they don't fit. I found this one on Amazon but one reviewer said it didn't fit in his '14. Is it ok to do what he did? It's the first review.
I have an add a fuse in my truck to run my CB radio. You will have to either leave off or cut/modify your fuse panel cover. I just made a small relief cut in mine so it would clear the add a fuse. I haven't had a single issue with mine at all.
I got mine at either auto zone or advance auto parts.
I didn't realize your truck takes different types of fuses, but after reading this guys review I now know that it does. With that said, i'm not sure if this is safe or not. sorry for the mixup.

Reason: missed something
Why not just run a fused line to the battery? I just put in two -- a 4 AWG 100A run and an 8 AWG 50A run. Went through the two grommets in the firewall (one on the driver side, one on the passenger side).
I've been looking for something like this so I can tap an "ignition" on signal to power up a power stud/relay. That way when the key goes off the power to accessories goes off.
I'm digging my old post from this because I finally decided to use one. I wired in a reverse camera. When I went to install the add a circuit it wouldn't fit in. It was the correct one. It just wouldn't fit all the way in. The review on the amazon link showed one guy had the same problem. Is this a common problem?
