I have a 94 F-150 with the 300. I shut it off after getting a wash, and realized the key rotated freely in the cylinder. So, I went to AutoZone and got a new cylinder (with key). 17 bucks for those who need to know.
The problem is, it still rotates freely within the new cylinder, from off to start. I have electrical still on, so I had to disconnect my battery.
Any ideas? Does the cylinder barrel need to be replaced, or something else?
