Might add some details please. Some Divcos had Ford type stud piloted wheels, but most had hub piloted Motor Wheel brand wheels as used by GMC and Studebaker. Edit - I removed mention of the 6 X 7.25" wheels since you said you need the 20" x 5". So knowing the bolt pattern and mounting design would be helpful. Stu
Boy, I'm seeing some features that tell me they are hub piloted, and another that looks stud piloted. The lug holes look smaller around which says hub piloted, and the tell tail washer markings strongly say hub piloted. Then again, I see what looks like chamfered lug holes which suggests a stud piloted mounting. The surest way to know would be to find either the Budd or Motor Wheel part numbers stamped into them, I can then look them up. Or I can tell if you post a picture of your lug nuts.
If they are hub piloted the below set of tubeless 22.5" wheels are your perfect solution. And reasonably priced. I've tried to get the Studebaker forum guys to snap them up without success. The tubeless 22.5" is the equal of your 20" tube type. But first we need to be sure we know what you have. BTW, I have no connection to the eBay seller. Stu
Did some research. Your present locking side ring style 20" x 5.00" wheels are Divco #30393 and Motor Wheel #83068. Hub piloted, 5 x 8" pattern, having the Goodyear LW style rim/ring design.
The 22.5" x 5.25" eBay wheels are probably Motor Wheel #84807 and are listed for Divco as #30480. Motor Wheel, unlike others, assigned a part number and kept it unchanged through the years. Your #83068 goes back to 1947 on models ULM-4/5/and 6.
If you elect to take the plunge and go after the set of 22.5s there are minor tire issues you will encounter. Please come back and I'll go into the details. Stu
