webmaster: the other day you ask for the code from my comp. i posted it but havn't responded as of yet thought mayb you forgot me anyway the number i found was (GU1) does that sound right ?
could or would a chip help my 87? Thnx DW
you can keep the intake and throttle body if you want. the computer should be changed, injectors matched to your application, and harness re-wired to make it all happy
IF it was carbed I'd have it made, The whole fuel injection thing is new to me. i've never modified an EFI before, I'm still trying to do my home work here as far as exactly what i need, but the plan is this fall im putting in a Aluminum head 351W, all ROLLER motor, and my goal is 400+HP 9.1 comp. run on pump gas , fuel injected daily driver. so any help you can offer on the (induction system) would be greatly appreciated. Thnx! DW
Well for EFI education right now check out my site in my signature.
And if you get Bronco Driver Magizine then you'll be reading my stuff a lot more. For 400+ HP, 9:1 compression, ect you want to skip the Truck computer and swap in a Mustang EFI system. That might be enough for ya. If not there is a lot more EFI products for that computer and EFI system to help you out.
Where i'm having trouble with is what size injectors? what size throtlebody? Thing like that. Where can i checkout this Bronco Driver Mag. I cant say i"ve ever saw one. Thnx DW
Thnx For the link! P.S. Dont get out of line down there in statesboro ga. I'll have to get some kin folks to come straighten you out! i was born and raised out side of Augusta. been a MO transplant for 2 yrs now. DW

Throttle body and intake only alter where the power curve is in the RPM range. The truck intake keeps all the power under 4000RPM with gobs of Torque
Gas Milage your kiding right LOL I drive a 6000lb truck with a lightning spin off engine and like to use the throttle
I get about 13MPG when I drive 95-100MPH for an hour to detriot LOL

I understand on the intake, but wouldn't it need a bigger throtle body for more air to go with gas, like a larger CFM carb, or will stock TB handle the job?
P.S. other stipulation for the new motor im building is 15MPG under normal diving conditions. DW
