Trailer socket spring

It may seem trivial but the spring is broken in the cover of my trailer socket.
My 7 pole flat connector.

Is there a cheap fix?
A source for just the spring?

You will need to replace the entire socket assembly there are no parts available.

My 7 round RV style connector had the door broken off. For some reason, I still have the entire assembly. I have the spring. I can send you a pic, and if it looks like it will work for you, I will send it to you.

Yes, the spring for the door that covers the round connector when not in use, and retains the trailer plug when in use.
